Portpatrick Lifeboat was launched at 14.05 21/5/14 to aid a small fishing vessel which was drifting of clanyard bay.
On arrival at the scene the fishing boat was wedged between rocks and the crew had climbed onto the cliff for safety.
The “Y” boat was launched to retrieve the casualties from the cliff but could not remove the boat, which if possible will be retrieved at high water.
Lifeboat returned to the station at Portpatrick harbour just after 4pm with the casualties on board.
