1775 prime sheep sold to average 171.76 SQQ (173.74). Best bred lambs and heavy meated lambs still readily sold, all other classes harder to sell. Top today was £100 235.8ppk for a pen of Beltex lambs from Gelston Castle.
Cast ewes would be slightly easier as has been so far this week selling to £97 for Texels from Lagganpark with rams to £115 from Laughtmuirside.
