Galloway and West Dumfries MSP Finlay Carson welcomed Dalbeattie High School to the Scottish Parliament last week.
The group of new S1 students had a tour of the Parliament building, attended a debate and participated in a Q&A session with Finlay Carson.
Carson was delighted to facilitate the visit to Parliament for his young constituents.

“It was great to welcome this new group of S1 students from Dalbeattie High School to the Scottish Parliament last week.
“We had a really interesting discussion about the role of the Scottish Parliament, how legislation is made and the role of an MSP.
“I always enjoy meeting local students and am struck by how politically engaged our young people are.
“I hope everybody enjoyed their trip!”
