HIGH VALUE COMPUTERS AND TOOLS STOLEN FROM VAN – TORTHORWALD

Police Scotland officers are investigating the theft of two laptop computers and a quantity of tools from a van which was parked at the waste water treatment works in Torthorwald. The theft happened sometime overnight Monday 25/Tuesday 26 September 2017 while the Fiat Doblo van was parked up at the works.

Constable Sandy Currie at Dumfries said “the value of the laptops, which contain high specification software, and the tools is in excess of £20,000. We want to hear from anyone who may have passed the waste water treatment site on Monday night or early Tuesday morning to get in touch if they saw or heard anything suspicious.
