The University of Glasgow’s School of Interdisciplinary Studies has seen a record number of Freshers enrol on its degree programmes in September 2017. They may only be welcoming their 2017 students, but it’s already time for anyone interested in studying with the University from September 2018 to pay them a visit.
The University of Glasgow will host an Open Day at its Dumfries Campus on Saturday 28th October from 11am until 2pm.
To take advantage of the open day prospective students and visitors are encouraged to arrive at the Rutherford McCowan Building no later than 11am (refreshments will be available). From 11.15am, visitors are invited to meet with academic colleagues and students to find out more about the undergraduate programmes in Health and Social Policy, Environmental Science and Sustainability and Primary Education with Teaching Qualification. Information will also be available about postgraduate and PhD opportunities.

From 12.15pm, visitors will have the opportunity to meet with current students and see the facilities as part of the guided campus tour. The tour of the Crichton Estate will end around 1pm with a stop-over at Neuro’s Bar, Restaurant and Spa where all visitors will be treated to coffee and cake and have the opportunity to meet in a more relaxed environment with academic colleagues, admissions staff and current students to find out more about studying at the University of Glasgow’s School of Interdisciplinary Studies.
