On Sunday 8th April, Scottish Association of Young Farmers held their West Club of the Year Competition at Lanark Market.
The 4 clubs competing were Machars YFC from Dumfries and Galloway, Kilmaurs YFC from Ayrshire, West Renfrewshire from Clyde and Central and Lesmahagow from Lanarkshire. The clubs were judged by Mr and Mrs James and Jennifer Baillie and Mrs Anne Coubrough..
Machar’s Young Farmers Club were represented by Andrew Hunter-Blair, Sarah Walker and Kathryn Robinsom. We are delighted to have been placed 1st and also received an award for 1st Place Recruitment! We now go on to compete at National at Ingliston on 21st April with the results being announced at the Royal Highland Show!
