POLICE In Dumfries are investigating the theft of two large ornamental Doberman style dogs that have been stolen from outside a house at Bankend between midday on Sunday 29th April and 10am on Wednesday 2nd May.
Constable Fiona Sword based at Dumfries said “the dogs weigh in excess of 50kg and would require at least two people to lift them. I would be keen to hear from anyone that may have noticed the dogs missing or seen anyone unusual in the village between Sunday and Wednesday this week. Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident 1965 of 2nd May.
