Police Scotland are again warning the public to ensure that dogs are kept properly under control following a report of sheep worrying in the Corrie area, near Lockerbie. Sometime overnight Saturday 16/Sunday 17 June 2018 a purebred tup lamb was killed on the farmlands of Whitcastles Farm, Corrie, Lockerbie. The injuries on the lamb are consistent with it being attacked by a large dog.
Constable Lisa Duff said “sadly this is another case which could have been avoided if the owner of the dog had kept it under proper control. I would like to hear from anyone who may have been around the Corrie area over the weekend, and who may have seen anyone with a dog, or dogs. Callers can contact us at Lockerbie on the 101 number and should quote the reference number PDG 0134040618.
