Dumfries and Galloway Citizens Advice Service are delighted to welcome another newly qualified adviser to the Dumfries bureau. Mirin Benzie completed an intensive adviser training programme to become generalist adviser.
Linda Shearer, Dumfries bureau manager, stated, “I am delighted to have another high quality volunteer on-board in our Dumfries bureau and to assist with clinics in the Stewartry. She will be a great asset to our team”.
Mirin said, “The training programme has given me a great foundation to become an adviser. I have really enjoyed working with staff and other experienced volunteers to make a difference to the clients who have sought our assistance. Personally I have learned so many new skills and developed my experience that my CV has been well and truly supercharged!”
