SHAX is an independent local charity based in The Crichton, Dumfries. They provide practical help to individuals and families who are in crisis through homelessness and/or poverty.
Shax supply emergency home Starter Packs to people in Dumfries and the surrounding areas, helping them set up home without going into debt.
You can visit their charity furniture warehouse – it’s open to the public Monday to Friday 9.30 to 4.
