On Wednesday 12th June “Rotary Kids Out” Fun Day took place at the Cream o’ Galloway Visitor Centre near Gatehouse of Fleet, Dumfries and Galloway.
76 “Children with Additional Support Needs” from schools across our region, from Dalbeattie to Penningham Newton Stewart, supported by 55 carers and parents enjoyed an exciting day out. 20 Rotarians from clubs across the region, supported Kirkcudbright Rotary in organising and helping out with various activities.
Riding in pedal cars, climbing and bouncing on ropework and netting to an exciting adventure playground and meeting and holding new born lambs was a lovely experience for many of the children. A great day out enjoyed by all ended with many happy smiling faces.
