22-year-old Scottish singer-songwriter Katee Kross has agreed to Headline this year’s Maidens of Music Festival at Lockerbie Town Hall on Saturday 21st of September.
Katee, from Bishopbriggs near Glasgow is already very well know and highly acclaimed, havingalready worked with some top names including Dougie MacLean, Barbara Dickson, Karine Polwart,James Grant, John Doyle, Findlay Napier, Tony McManus and Seasick Steve. She has written andreleased three full length albums and has performed at all of the top UK Country festivals. Katee joins13 other bands and solo artists coming from all corners of the UK to compliment an already strong line-up.

The festival celebrates the very best in local national and international female song-writing andperformance. It takes place in Lockerbie Town Hall on Saturday 21st September from 2pm-11:30pm. Over the years support for Maidens of Music has been received from Dumfries and Galloway Council, D&G Arts Festival, The People’s Project, Dumfries Theatre Royal, Queen of the South FC and DG Unlimited.
