‘For the Love of Scrubs’ is a national network with groups all over the UK who aim to use their sewing skills to help provide essential clothing for the NHS and other health and social care settings.
The group is making scrubs, pyjamas, nightgowns and drawstring bags for facilities across the region.
A large number of volunteers have come together, from all over Dumfries and Galloway, to help in any way they can.
The group has set up a network across the region and are co-ordinating their work to include social distancing measures.
The group have named NHS contacts and are ensuring deliveries of goods are co-ordinated to minimise footfall to health and social care facilities
