Dumfries and Galloway charitable organisation, The Bakehouse Community Arts (TBCA), has received £14,793 in National Lottery funds through Creative Scotland in the latest round of Open Fund awards.
It is among 51 creative projects and research and development initiatives across Scotland sharing in over £820K of National Lottery and Scottish Government funding.
Based in Gatehouse of Fleet, The Bakehouse Community Arts promotes poetry and the spoken word, hosts events and offers workshops for local writers.
This funding will support the organisation’s eBakings project; a new online poetry platform which will showcase the work of new and established writers and help the organisation reach a wider audience.
