Essential maintenance on the A75 between Crocketford and Springholm at Auchenreoch Loch is taking place from Monday 12th April until Friday 16th April 2021, between the hours of 8pm and 6am, each night
This scheme, with a value of £196,747, will benefit around 9,200 vehicles using this route each day, by improving the condition of the carriageway and reducing the need for more extensive maintenance in the future.
The work will be carried out using an overnight convoy at this location and to allow treatment areas to cool, there will also be daytime lane closures controlled by two-way temporary traffic signals. We thank road users for their patience while this essential maintenance is underway.
Our operatives will follow strict physical distancing and hygiene protocols throughout the programme, in line with the Scottish Government’s COVID-19 guidance.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
