The Devil’s Porridge Museum at Eastriggs near Annan, Dumfries and Galloway, was visited by Poppy Scotland’s Bud this weekend.
Bud is an interactive museum display which travels Scotland sharing messages of remembrance and hope. Its displays include poppies from the early twentieth century and films focusing on different aspects of life in the Armed Forces. Visitors to the Museum got to visit Bud and make their own poppy.
“The Devil’s Porridge Museum focuses on life for local people in both World Wars” explained Judith Hewitt, the Museum Manager, “And we were delighted to welcome Bud to ensure that their contribution is never forgotten.”
