Charity Tractor Run Raises £4300 In Memory Of Willie & Gordon

Lorna and Sandy Dunlop and their children Tom and Maisie, the team behind the Charity Tractor Run on 4 July in memory of two farmers from Dumfriesshire, Sandy’s father Willie Dunlop who passed away in March 2020, and his friend and Lorna’s father, Gordon Carlyle who sadly died this march 2021, are pleased to say the event, which saw 86 tractors cover the 37 mile round trip from Dumfries via Lochfoot, Milton, Southwick, Kirkbean, and New Abbey, raised a total of £4300 which was split between Maggie’s Centres and the British Heart Foundation, Scotland.

The weather tried it’s best to help, and some eventually managed to top up their tan – after they’d removed their waterproofs!
