Assault – Dumfries
A local 30 year old woman was assaulted by a male as she walked along Criffel Road near the Cuckoo Bridge foot path at around 19.45hrs on Thursday 25 September. The male asked her for money, when she refused he assaulted her. The woman was pushing a pram at the time of the incident with her two year old son in it. The male kicked the pram knocking it over however the infant did not sustain any injuries in the incident.
The male is described as:
• White, approximately five foot five inches tall and aged in his early 30’s. He had a slim build and was wearing dark jeans, a dark top and possibly white trainers. He was also wearing a dark coloured baseball cap.
The male was last seen heading in the direction of Lochside Road near the shops.
