Across Dumfries and Galloway, a number of roads are closed. Although it is frustrating to have to take a longer route, Police Officers are stressing that making sure that you don’t travel on a closed road is important.
Chief Inspector Davidson, said “Road closures are in place for a reason. The council’s engineers and roads teams have been out since the early hours investigating roads and bridges. Roads will re-open when it is safe and appropriate to do so. Your safety is our priority. Please comply with road closures.”
