C & D Auctions held their weekly sale of Primestock in Dumfries which included the Christmas Show & Sale of Prime Cattle
A show of good quality local prime cattle was presented to the judge, Ian Carlisle, Border Meats, who after careful deliberation found his champion in the Galloway Section with a Bullock from J&S Ross, Romesbeoch which sold at 300p/kg or £1920 to the judge.
Reserve Champion was sold to J Craig for Ballards Butchers, Castle Douglas at 300p/kg for a Limousin Bullock.

Heifers to 300p/kg Yett to R Johnstone & Sons, Butchers Annan
