Local rock legends Finding Albert were set to make a special reappearance after 6 years to preform a gig in their home town Dumfries on Friday night, but unfortunately due to the ongoing Covid situation they have decided to postpone.
The band stated on facebook today “It is with a heavy heart that we announce that due to the ongoing public health situation and updated government guidance, Friday’s show will be postponed until 2022.
All ticket holders will be contacted later today. All tickets purchased will be valid for the new re-arranged – and now completely sold-out – show. Refunds will be offered to anyone that requests through point-of-purchase. Re-arranged date is TBC (hopefully early 2022).
Really gutting having to do this. We’d like to thank everyone for their incredible support of the band’s return: everyone who’s bought tickets, who’s helped to put this show on, and who were as excited about our return to playing together as we were. It really means so much.
Guess this just gives us a few more months to rehearse and absolutely smash it for you… we’ll be dancing again soon!
Love,
Robert, Neil, Michael, Chris and Irv
