The long delayed 2021 Championship Finals were played at Kirkcudbright Squash Club last weekend.
Club Squash champion is Paul McElroy who beat the old campaigner Geoff Dean narrowly in a 5 set final. Well done Paul.(Nain photo)
Neil Austin won the plate competition beating a spirited Joe Shepherd in the final.
In the women’s squash final Grace Aspden won against Gill Lindsay , the reigning champion. Well done Grace who is fairly new to the sport.
The Racketball final went to Geoff, beating an unlucky Joe in the final.
Women’s Racketball was won by Gill Lindsay who beat an out of sorts Ros Moffat in the final.
Such is life that this years Championships will start at the end of March!!
