APPEAL FOR WITNESSES
Police want to trace the following described male who was on an off road motor bike on the path which runs between Lochside Road and Glentrool Road in Lochside, Dumfries at around 1500 hours on Monday 27 October 2014. At that time a mother was walking with her three children, aged 3, 5 and 6 when she was confronted by this motorcycle and rider in what was considered to be a dangerous manner. The mother had to gather up her children as she feared for her safety on a number of occasions as the bike passed her. Whilst no-one was injured the mother and children were left extremely upset after the incident.
The motorcycle rider is described as being a ‘boy’ with dark hair and was wearing a yellow coloured hooded top and no helmet. Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident t get in touch through 101. It does appear that other mothers and children were in the vicinity at the time.
