The team at Galloglas Group Ltd were delighted to be crowned double winners at this year’s Scottish Veteran Awards.
The Heathhall based business was named Scottish Veteran Employer of the Year and Managing Director Richie Nicoll was crowned as Scottish Veteran Entrepreneur of the Year.
Richie was also thrilled to have been co-opted onto the board of Dumfries & Galloway College – the same day.
Richie Nicoll, who is currently working overseas said “I am genuinely lost for words for this one. Being an extremely proud Veteran, I am blown away and very humbled to have been crowned Scottish Veteran Entrepreneur of the Year 2022 with GalloGlas Group being named Scottish Veteran Owned Employer of the Year 2022.”
Richie continued “This isn’t however about me. This is about the wonderful team I have at GalloGlas and the work and desire that they put in to make the company work, adapt and move forward to accomplishing our goals. It’s also about my fantastic wife and kids that don’t just put up with me working abroad for 6 months of every year but keep me grounded when I’m working back in the UK and giving me the inspiration to be the best person that I can.”
