Taking place at Dock Park in Dumfries at 10.30am on Sunday 28th August 2022, the Dumfries Harriers are delighted to bring you the recently improved, fast and flat, Doonhamer 10K which starts and finishes in the beautifully refurbished Dock Park, beside the River Nith in Dumfries.
The race traces the pathways alongside the river and cross the river several times using the Buccleuch Street, Suspension and Kirkpatrick MacMillan bridges. The route itself was streamlined in 2019 to make it a very likely Personal Best course!
This is an officially measured and certified course. Entry costs just £15 for affiliated members and £17 for Non-affiliated runners which includes;• Chip timing• On course water stop• Unique medal and goody bag for every finisher• First aid• Kilometre markers throughout a well marshalled route• Limited car parking and toilet facilities
