An Early start for the girls leaving Stranraer before 7am to get to Cumnock for 8.30. The game started at a fast pace with these two evenly matched teams fighting for every ball.
Millennium had a couple of chances and eventually took the lead through a nice finish from Carly on the 12th minute.
Cambusdoon pulled one back through their speedy striker 1-1.
Millennium then swung in a corner and after a few bounces and deflections the ball fell to Fern who put it away 2-1. Half time 2-1 millennium.
Second half was more of the same the game was played at a hectic pace. Cambusdoon scored next 2-2. Aliyah then got in on the act 3-2 millennium, after a one on one with keeper and a great finish.
Straight from kick off Cambusdoon pulled it back again 3-3.
With 8 minutes to go after some great build up from Carly, Mollie & Chloe W the ball fell to Aliyah who duly finished 4-3. There was final scare with Dani chesting the ball on the line and then clearing it which stopped a Cambusdoon equaliser. Brilliant performance from our team and another day to remember with the league putting on a good set up for the girls with the music and ref leading them out of the tunnel etc. We had a fantastic support today with parents, family and friends travelling in big numbers to cheer on the team.
