Luna has been trying the finisher medal on for size. Here she is at the finish line to see what it might feel like to cross that line and be presented with her 2022 unique medal – she still has the anticipation of the goodie bag to look forward to as well. She needs to get her entry in soon though as the closing date for online entries is Saturday 27th August 6pm.
Taking place at Dock Park in Dumfries at 10.30am this Sunday 28th August 2022, Luna will have to get her entry in before Saturday by going online to entrycentral.com and putting Doonhamer 10k in the search box. She will then find all the details about the race and how to enter Doonhamer 10k – EntryCentral.com
The race traces the pathways alongside the river and cross the river several times using the Buccleuch Street, Suspension and Kirkpatrick MacMillan bridges. The route itself was streamlined in 2019 to make it a very likely Personal Best course!
This is an officially measured and certified course. Entry costs just £15 for affiliated members and £17 for Non-affiliated runners which includes;• Chip timing• On course water stop• Unique medal and goody bag for every finisher• First aid• Kilometre markers throughout a well marshalled route• Limited car parking and toilet facilities
