The Haill Six Incorporated Trades of Kirkcudbright held their Annual General Meeting in the Tolbooth on Friday night 14th October 2022.
The Incorporated Trades were formed in 1425 and have played a significant ceremonial role in the town over the years.
Deacon Convener Ian D. Swan welcomed a good turnout of Deacons and Journeymen. He reflected on a highly successful and enjoyable year following enforced abeyance due to Covid 19.
Mr. Swan was re-elected as Deacon Convener. Office Bearers were returned by acclimation. The ancient Kirkin’ of the Deacon Convener takes place this Sunday starting outside the old Court and proceeding through the High Street to the Parish Church.
