Police in Kirkcudbright have caught and arrested a 56 year old male in relation to threatening and abusive behaviour.
It is alleged that the man was armed with a knife, the search involving a helicopter started on Tuesday night. A Local person told DGWGO that the Man was found in the area of the Johnston Centre in the town.
Police stated that they would like to thank the community for their assistance during the search.
