Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland as part of the Network Management Contract for the South-West Trunk Road Unit, are undertaking essential maintenance on the A77 near Girvan at Bridgemill Rail Bridge parapets from Sunday 4th December until Friday 16th December 2022.
This scheme, with a value of £82,571 will benefit around 6,700 vehicles using this route each day, by improving the safety of the structure.
The work will be carried out using phased carriageway closures and overnight temporary traffic lights. We thank road users for their patience and co-operation while these essential works take place.
These works will take place overnight as follows:
- 9pm on Sunday 4th December until 5:00am on Monday 5th December 2022
- 11:45pm on Monday 5th December until 5:00am on Tuesday 6th December 2022
- 11:45pm on Tuesday 6th December until 5:00am on Wednesday 7th December 2022
- 11:45pm on Wednesday 7th December until 5:00am on Thursday 8th December 2022
- 11:45 pm on Thursday 8th December until 5:00am on Friday 9th December 2022.
- 9pm on Sunday 11th December until 5:00am on Monday 12th December 2022
- 11:45 Monday 12th December until 5:00am on Tuesday 13th December 2022.
- 11:45pm on Tuesday 13th December until 5:00am on Wednesday 14th December 2022
- 11:45pm on Wednesday 14th December until 5:00am on Thursday 15th December 2022
- 11:45pm on Thursday 15th December until 5:00am on Friday 16th December 2022
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
