After taking a break for the final round of the 2023 Six Nations, rugby returns to Dumfries and Galloway this weekend with a whole host of fixtures across both the men’s and women’s games.
In National 2, Newton Stewart travels to mid-table Berwick with the hope of maintaining their number one spot, while eighth-placed Dumfries Saints take on Boroughmuir away from home.
Stewartry hosts Lenzie at Greenlaw in a second versus fourth clash in West 1, Wigtownshire plays bottom-of-the-table Glasgow Uni Medics in West 2 and Moffat makes the trip to play Shawlands in West 3.
In the women’s game, we have both the Stewartry Sirens in the Sarah Beaney Cup and
Wigtownshire in the National Shield heading to the capital to play Corstorphine and Broughton respectively, while Annan goes away to Oban Lorne for their matchup in the National Plate.
All of the men’s games are scheduled for Saturday 25th and the women’s for Sunday 26th.
