The Wigtown Town Team are working to create a plan for the future of the area.
The development of a Place Plan, will show ambition and creativity for the area of Wigtown and Bladnoch that reflects the wants and needs of local people.
Sandra McDowall, Town Team member says “By building on the existing success in the community, we want to make it an even greater place to live, work, play and visit. We are delighted to be working with Community Enterprise to gather the views of the community about what the priorities should be for the area”.
Lynda Johnstone, Community Enterprise “What you tell us will help to plan the things which will make a direct difference to you, your family and neighbours in the Wigtown and Bladnoch area”. Many local people and businesses have been involved in the engagement so far and people have shared their views through the community survey, engagement events and feedback boards in the library. To conclude the phase of collecting views a “Free Festival of Ideas Day” is planned for Monday 24th July 2023 in Wigtown.
