Russell Brown MP said:
“It’s always a great opportunity I have to reward the talented young people in our local primary schools at this time of year. I hope that all of the winners enjoy their well-deserved prizes.”
“Although there could only be a few winners, every card was very well designed and making a choice was very difficult. To show off how artistic our local youngsters are, I have arranged for every card that was sent to me to be displayed in the local area and I would encourage everyone who has the opportunity to go and see them.”
“The overall winning card by Leela looks great and I have already sent out it out as my official Christmas card.”
“As always my thanks go to the teachers and parents who have put so much effort into the competition as well as Stena Line, P&O, Stranraer FC, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Queen of the South FC, Tesco, Halfords, Knox Sports, Ryan Leisure Centre, Odeon Cinemas and McDonalds who all very kindly donated prizes for the competition. Without their support the competition wouldn’t be possible.”
