Soup on Saturday returns to Kippford RNLI
2024 marks the 200th anniversary of the RNLI and the Kippford fundraising team are delighted to kick off the year with the ever popular SoS event. Taking place on Saturday 27th January in Kippford Village Hall.
Everyone is welcome from 12noon on Saturday 27th January at Kippford Village Hall. Enjoy a bowl of tasty homemade soup and a selection of sandwiches in aid of Kippford RNLI. Entry on the door is £7 per person
Cheryl McLellan, Kippford RNLI fundraising chair said: ‘The Soup on Saturday is a perfect way to start our year, a lovely warm soup is ideal in January and we expect the event to be well attended. As we enter the 200th anniversary year it’s great to be able to remind people about the lifesaving work the RNLI undertake all year round. The volunteers are Kippford train hard to be able to assist those in trouble and events like these help to fund the station and lifeboat’
Please come and join the crew and fundraisers on Saturday 27th January. More events will be announced on the Kippford RNLI Facebook page over the course of 2024 and we hope to involve the community in as many ways as possible as we celebrate 200 years of saving lives at sea.
