Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential overnight resurfacing on the A75 between Planting End and Castle Kennedy, from Monday 8th July until Friday 19th July, between the hours of 9pm and 6am each night.
This work will require overnight road closures in this location and a signed diversion will be in operation. Westbound traffic will leave the A75 after Glenluce, turning left onto the B7084 and following to Genoch Square to take the B7077 to Kildrochet before turning right onto the A716 and continuing to Stranraer. Traffic will then take the second exit at the roundabout onto Commerce Road to re-join the A75 west of Stranraer Academy. Eastbound traffic will take the route in reverse.
Access to the Industrial Estate will be via Glenluce/New Luce and local access will be maintained for village residents and businesses.

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the condition of the carriageway and reducing the need for more extensive maintenance in the future.
