SHG Adopts Hospitality Health As Its Chosen Charity

The Scottish Hospitality Group (SHG) has chosen Hospitality Health as its nominated charity for the next twelve months. The news was revealed at the organisations first anniversary lunch at Barolo in Glasgow, on Wednesday 20th November.

Stephen Montgomery, Director and Spokesperson of the Scottish Hospitality Group said “Mental health plays a major part in many people’s day to day life, and many often feel that they can’t speak to anyone about this, or any addiction they may have. We felt that it was important that we had a good link with a charity that we could promote and support. Having known Gordon for a long time now, we felt this was a great fit for SHG”

Gordon McIntyre, founder of Hospitality Health welcomed the decision by SHG to adopt the charity as its fundraising partner for the year. Gordon commented, “We are delighted to have been selected as SHG’s first charity partner, SHG has some incredible organisations within the group, and we are looking forward very much to the collaboration with them in raising funds for the charity, as well as providing their teams with mental health support.”

During the lunch a raffle was held, with £445 being handed over to Gordon McIntyre on the day.

SHG represents Scotland’s best known entrepreneurial family operated hospitality and leisure businesses. They include Signature Group, DRG Group, Buzzworks, Eusebi Deli, Lisini Group, McGintys Group and Simpsinns.
