Heathhall Community Centre Hall From Brownies to Zumba, with Bingo, Bowling & lots more in between, most ages & interests are catered for at Heathhall Community Centre.
The spacious, well equipped & well maintained hall at Barnett Road in Heathhall has ample parking & is also available for occasional lets mainly at weekends, & is often booked then, especially for children’s parties. But halls don’t run themselves & that’s where the Hall committee comes in,for although the hall is owned by D&G Regional Council the day to day management is down to a committee of VOLUNTEERS.
This team is currently quite small (7) & needs more members. The more people there are to share the jobs, the less there is to do for each individual member. E.g. Opening & closing the hall for any lets booked in at weekends, helping at the weekly Bingo sessions on a Wednesday evening. Committee meetings are held 6-8 times per year.
Being a volunteer means giving some of your time but it can be satisfying to make a contribution to your community. .
