There is an open day being held this Sunday the 31st of May at the Barony Campus Dumfries .
Cars are charged at £5 per car. However ALL monies made will be going to the South of Scotland Wildlife Hospital which is based at the college . It’s all volunteers from the wildlife hospital that will be donating their time to direct cars, set things up, collecting monies and helping all the public.
As well as career advice there will be stalls , animals and other great things going on Like Fat ball making for the Birds . The wildlife hospital is run on donations from the public. This time of the year is very hard with a lot of baby animals and birds needing 24hr care.
I know it’s a little short notice but we are really needing any raffle donations and also some face painters. In return for the face painters or indeed any other entertainment we can provide a great day out, your lunch and refreshments and of course heartfelt thanks from all at the hospital especially the thousands wildlife that’s passes through this hospital being warm, fed, cared for and loved. Anyone that can help please get directly to the South of Scotland Wildlife Facebook page. on https://www.facebook.com/pages/South-of-Scotland-Wildlife-Hospital/116996971701146
Please don’t use the phone lines incase there is an emergency trying to get through. Thank you Lorna Kempsell
