Two red coloured Honda quad bikes with a value of over £10,000 have been stolen from a farm at Crawick, Sanquhar, sometime overnight Thursday 25/Friday 26 June 2015.
The bikes are only two months old and were stolen in a break-in to an outbuilding at the farm. Inspector Rory Caldow, Police Scotland Area Commander for the Sanquhar area said “We are asking members of the public to get in touch is they saw or heard anything suspicious in this area overnight. Often the key to catching those responsible rests with information we are given by members of the public who provide the necessary missing piece to the jigsaw. I am appealing to anyone who can help us to call us at Sanquhar on 101. I would also remind the public to stay vigilant with regards to the security of their property and if they need any advice then I would ask them to call Police Scotland and ask to speak to their local; crime reduction officer who will make an appointment to attend and carry out a free security survey.”
