Budding Dumfries based 9 year old karter ‘Kieran Conchie’ finished 3rd in the WSKC (West of Scotland Kart Club) Cadet Club Championship in his first full season in Karting this season.
In addition he has also managed to gain 4 race wins, 3 at Larkhall and 1 at MBKC in Wigan. Having just came off his novice plates in November last year’ 2015 was to be a learning curve as he was only 8 years old for most of the year. Being so young racing against competitors of up to 13 years old Kieran has achieved far more than he ever expected this season.
Kieran told DGWGO Sports News “I have had so much fun, met so many brilliant people, made great friends and achieved far more than I expected. I would never have achieved what I have without everyone’s support locally and on my Facebook and Twitter pages Kieran Conchie Racing.”
Kieran is currently going over his plans for the 2016 season, he is really excited and can’t wait.
