THOUSANDS OF POUNDS WORTH OF JEWELLERY TAKEN FROM NEWTON STEWART HOME

Housebreaking – Newton Stewart

Police Scotland officers in Newton Stewart are investigating a day time housebreaking at a house in Blair Way in the town. The house was broken into sometime between 0730 hours and 2000 hours on Tuesday 9 February 2016. At this time a large quantity of jewellery with a value in the region of £2,500 has been discovered stolen.

Constable Graeme Stewart at Newton Stewart said “the house was broken into in broad daylight while no-one was in and we are asking for anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the Blair Way area to get in touch through 101 if they can assist.”
