Road users are set to benefit from £150K of upgrading works on the A75 at Mossyard, which is located 6km west of Gatehouse of Fleet and will see the construction of a right turn lane.
The works by Scotland TranServ, operating on behalf of Transport Scotland, are programmed to begin on Monday 22 February 2016 for 8 weeks. The works will be carried out under one-way alternating traffic lights.
Andy Fraser, Operating Company Representative, Scotland TranServ said:
“This upgrading scheme will benefit road users using the A75 entering Mossyard.
“We are doing everything we can to minimise disruption by carrying these works under one-way alternating traffic lights however we would advise motorists to plan ahead and leave plenty of time for their journeys.”
