Matthew Hyslop (30) currently lives near Old Bridge
Of Urr. Originally from West Logan Farm, Castle Douglas.
Matthew was a Lynor in 2007and works as an Agronomist and Father to 9 Month old Andrew.
Matthew’s Interests/Hobbies are Club and International Rugby, Running and Skiing..
Matthew is honoured to be Cornet Elect 2016 and is looking forward too Kirkcudbright ROM on Friday 15th July 2016 at 7pm.
Cornet’s Lass Elect 2016
Skye Lindsay (26) from Culnaightrie Farm, Auchencairn is currently working as a ‘Farming and Education Officer’ at Bill Quay Community Farm, in Gateshead (since October 2014). This role involves management and care of the farm’s rare breed livestock and tutoring students studying Animal Care.
Skye was a Lynor in 2012 and her hobbies are walking her young Springer Spaniel dog, skiing, riding, travelling and reading.
She hopes 2016 will be a great year for Kirkcudbright Cornet’s Club and it all begins at the Kirkin of the Cornet on Sunday the 10th July 2016 at 11am.

Laura White from Islesteps, Dumfries has been a nurse since she left University and have risen through the ranks and now work as a Senior Charge Nurse in ICU & SHDU at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary. When Laura is not working she is busy looking after her small menagerie of animals. Laura has a small flock of pedigree Coloured Ryelands which she shows during the summer months, Laura enjoys walking her dog and most of all hacking out on the horse.
Laura is honoured to have been asked to be 2016 Kirkicudbright Pursuivant, which will certainly be the highlight of her year. Laura has supported and ridden Kirkcudbright ROM a number of times over the years, it will be an exciting night riding alongside this year’s Cornet and Cornets Lass leading the rideout around the boundary of Kirkcudbright.
I hope the weather is kind to us and look forward to seeing new and well known supporters along the route.

Diane Warren originally from Dundrennan is married to Dylan, but now lives and works in Dumfries for D & G Council.
Diane will be riding Murphie who is 15 this year and has competed in all disciplines but for the last 4 years have concentrated on endurance riding as well as still supporting all the local ROM’s. When not doing that, walking their staffie bull terrier or motorbiking with hubby.
