Wigtown Spring Book Weekend Fri 29th April-Sun 1st May
With over 27 events over three days in Wigtown to suit all ages and interests the Wigtown Book Festival team are excityed about the programme for Wigtown’s annual Spring Book Weekend taking place from Friday 29 April – Sunday 1 May 2016. The events are spread over three days, this year sees the welcome return of speakers from the University of Glasgow, Crichton Campus, and a series of events with both familiar and new faces.
A Spokes person for the Book Festival told DGWGO “Whether you would like to be educated, informed, entertained, or all three, we hope you’ll find something stimulating in the programme of literature, tastings, exhibitions, walks, workshops and children’s events, and time to explore the bookshops and galleries and relax in the restaurants, and cafés which the town has to offer.
