SINCE winning BBC Radio Scotland’s Young Traditional Musician of the Year title last year, former Wallace Hall Academy pupil and highly acclaimed Scottish folk singer Claire Hastings has been working towards her much anticipated debut album: Between River and Railway.
Claire will launch the album in her home town of Dumfries at the Theatre Royal on Wednesday, 4 May, at 8pm.
The album features exciting arrangements of traditional folk songs alongside Claire’s self-penned material, which will be brought to life with band members Jenn Butterworth (guitar and vocals), Laura Wilkie (fiddle) and Andrew Waite (accordion).
Support from singer Holly Little.
