Kieran Conchie was in action at Cumbria Kart Club in Rowrah at the weekend for their club championship round 4 and in a dominant display won all 3 qualifying heats and the final.
Kieran set fastest laps during the 3 qualifying heats pulling off some impressive overtaking moves to score maximum points which gave him pole for the final. After a great start Kieran maintained his lead, set the fastest lap and won by over 8.5 seconds.
Kieran told DGWGO Sports News “with the weather being the warmest this year we tried some new set ups on the kart and it felt great to drive even on our older tyres. To have got my first win at Rowrah is something I have been working hard at this year and I’m really proud to have achieved it”.
