Dumfriesshire MSP Oliver Mundell has officially opened his constituency office in Lockerbie following his election victory in May.
Mr Mundell invited supporters to 78 High Street in the town on Friday and the office is now open for constituents who wish to ask for his help on issues they are concerned about.
Commenting on the opening Oliver Mundell said: “I am delighted that I now have a constituency office up and running in what has been a quick turnaround in securing an office since I was elected in May.
“It was good to welcome a lot of familiar faces on Friday and my office door is now very much open for business for constituents who I will be more than happy to help on any issue.
“I settled on Lockerbie as my constituency base as it is at the heart of Dumfriesshire and has strong connections linking me to the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh, with the train station being very close to my office.
“It is important to be accessible as possible to my constituents who need assistance and I feel having an office in the heart of Lockerbie High Street does just that.
“You can also contact the office on 01576 203910 or by e-mail on [email protected] where my team will be happy to help.”
