The Tour of Britain is coming to Dumfries and Galloway on Sunday 4th September and Dumfries and Galloway Council are organising subsidised buses so you can see the stage finish in Castle Douglas, without the worry of finding parking for your car.
There will be a host of support events on the day and the majority of traders on the town’s King Street are opening to cater for visitors and showcase the town.

Buses will be available from:
- Lockerbie
- Annan
- Dumfries
- Dalbeattie
- The Glenkens
- Kirkconnel
- Sanquhar
- Thornhill
- Stranraer
- Newton Stewart
Most buses will depart at 11am or noon before leaving Castle Douglas at 4pm for return journeys.
The price is £3 return for adults and £2 return for all concessions. Children aged 5 and under can travel for free.
