£6000 WORTH OF DESIGNER JACKETS STOLEN – GRETNA

 

Police Scotland is investigating a break-in to the Gretna Green Woolen Mill at Gretna Green which happened sometime around 1800 hours on Sunday 6 November 2016. As a result ta large quantity of men’s and ladies Barbour jackets and quilted jackets were stolen and the value at this stage is over £6000.

Constable Graeme McKirde at Gretna said “we are currently carrying out door to door enquiries and examining CCTV footage from surrounding premises in relation to this crime. We also want to hear from anyone who may have been in the Gretna Green area in the early evening of Sunday to give us a call if they saw anything suspicious. This has the hallmarks of a smash and grab type raid and those responsible seem to know what it is they were after. Anyone with any information which might help us catch those responsible is asked to call Gretna Police on 101.
