Police Scotland is investigating the theft of lead from the roof of Lochmaben Primary School. The theft happened sometime overnight Sunday 6/Monday 7 November 2016. About six metres of lead has been stolen and the cost to repair the roof is in the region of £600.
Sergeant Joyce Adams at Lockerbie said “clearly those involved in this theft must have been about the school for some time and we are asking anyone who was in or around the area of the school on Sunday night/Monday morning to give us a call at Lockerbie on 101 if they saw anything suspicious.”
